What does Creative Exchange actually mean?
Creative Exchange is an official Tiktok platform that allows brands to submit a detailed campaign brief directly on the app. Agencies and content creators can then respond by submitting their bids.
As TikTok explains: "The TikTok Creative Exchange platform gives marketers instant access to a selection of the best TikTok creative partners in the industry, enabling effective collaboration on a large scale. Our network of creative experts will help tailor and personalize content to improve ad performance on TikTok and drive business results."
How does Creative Exchange work?
The way it works is pretty straightforward: brands sign up to the Creative Exchange platform (available only to verified profiles) and are then given an overview of pitch options and how they want to define their project.

TikTok's aim is to help companies come up with creative concepts. For their part, designers and agencies will be kept informed of project progress via e-mail and notifications. Brands will be able to exchange ideas directly on the platform.
Unlike the Creator Marketplace (another tool offered by tiktok), this platform is aimed more at encouraging partnerships, whereas the previous offer mainly highlighted the most creative TikTokers.
